Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu launched the first ‘Easy Connect’ flight from Varanasi, marking a significant step towards improving seamless air connectivity for passengers.

The ‘Easy Connect’ initiative is designed to simplify travel by enabling smoother connections between flights, reducing transit hassles and enhancing the overall passenger experience. The programme aims to improve connectivity between regional and major airports while making air travel more convenient and efficient.

The launch aligns with the government’s vision of strengthening regional air connectivity and enhancing the country’s aviation infrastructure. It is expected to provide passengers with greater travel flexibility, shorter connection times, and improved access to destinations across India.

The initiative also supports the objectives of expanding the domestic aviation network, boosting tourism, facilitating business travel, and making air travel more accessible under the government’s ongoing efforts to modernise the civil aviation sector.
